A single-phase pad-mounted transformer, commonly referred to as a
residential transformer, is a compact, enclosed unit intended for
outdoor use. It features a sealed design, with its high-voltage and
low-voltage components located side by side in the cable entry
compartment. The cable entrance compartment is secured with a
padlock that complies with ANSI C57 standards. This residential
transformer is designed to be both tamper-resistant and
weather-resistant.
